Job summary

Boar's Head Brand is looking for a Packaging Specialist to keep the shift running smoothly by organizing product and materials, ensuring bagger operators have bags when needed, and monitoring the smokehouse status for uninterrupted production. The role requires willingness to be trained across the department to cover breaks and absences.

Strong English communication is essential for verbal and written tasks, and basic computer skills are needed to enter data into company systems.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in room temperatures below 40 degrees.
• Excellent communication in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Issues inteli labels into Radley
• Checks WIP inventory via Business Objectives
• Assists department flow by retrieving trees, delivering bag reels to baggers and communicating with Smokehouse for needed product
• Will be trained on all positions in RTE and will fill in as needed
• Must be able to communicate in English for both verbal and written communication
• Basic computer skills to be able to navigate and enter data into various computer systems
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Responsible for following GMP's, SOP's, HACCP procedures, Quality Plan work instructions, plant rules and policies.
• Must be able to work in room temperatures that run below 40 degrees.
• Must be willing and able to perform other job functions as needed.
