Job summary

Sterling Labs in Des Plaines, IL is seeking an Entry-Level 2nd Shift Organics Extractions Technician to perform preparation, analysis, and testing of soil and water samples following SOPs. The role supports sediment and water analyses and requires a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, chemistry, or biology.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, tracking supplies, ensuring safety, and data entry into LIMS. The shift runs 4:00 PM–1:00 AM with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Track laboratory supplies for successful test runs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and SOPs to maintain a safe environment.

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and glassware.
• Record data in LIMS and keep accurate lab records.
