Job summary

High Steel Service Center is hiring an experienced Order Puller for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm) at our Lancaster facility. You will pull material from stock using a forklift, crane, or side-loader and prepare it for shipment based on work orders.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED and manufacturing or warehousing experience. Overtime and Saturdays may be required; starting pay is $19.00/hr with a $3.00/hr shift differential, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehousing preferred.
• Ability to operate crane, forklift or side-loader.

Responsibilities

• Pull material from stock using forklift, crane or side-loader.
• Package pulled material for shipment according to order sheets.
• Determine material and packaging needs from orders.
• Work with ERP system to restock and track inventory.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
