Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a manufacturing supervisor to coordinate a team and ensure production specifications, schedules, and quality targets are met on-site. The role involves monitoring output, assigning tasks, and addressing equipment, material, or safety issues promptly.

You will support management in staffing and overtime planning and mentor junior team members to promote continuous improvement across the line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of a group of employees to meet production specifications, schedules, volume, cost, waste targets and quality standards.
• Monitor team performance and assign tasks to ensure work specifications and delivery targets are met.
• First responder to equipment faults, parts shortages, quality issues, and safety issues.
• Assist management in organizing headcount and overtime to meet schedules.
• Support continuous improvement and coach less experienced team members.
