Job description

Donaldson Company - Production Painter / Liquid Painter

Role Responsibilities:
  • Operate and conduct equipment changeovers for production equipment as per operator instructions.
  • Process paperwork such as scrap reports and move tickets accurately.
  • Read, understand, and utilize route sheets effectively.
  • Operate all paint-related equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Label all drums and paint-related materials correctly.
  • Comply with all DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all surfaces to be painted are properly prepared before painting.
  • Gather parts by color and establish a smooth flow through the painting process.
  • Move large or awkward items using forklifts and cranes.
  • Complete annual RCRA Hazardous Waste and DOT Hazardous Material Training.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Training in hazardous waste and DOT procedures.
  • Experience operating spray paint application equipment with attention to quality and detail.
  • Ability to repair surfaces for recoating.
  • Capability to move objects using heavy equipment like forklifts and cranes.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
Additional Information:

Shift: 2nd shift, 4-10 hour shifts from 3 PM to 1 AM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime on Fridays.

Starting wage: $21.63/hr.
