Job summary

Saint Joe’s in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a 2nd Shift Nurse Supervisor (LPN or RN) to lead our nursing team in a developmental disability care setting. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a compassionate professional who wants to mentor staff and elevate patient care during the 1:00pm–10:30pm shift and on-call every 3rd weekend.

You will supervise and support nursing staff, ensure high-quality care and regulatory compliance, assist with training and onboarding, coordinate with physicians

Qualifications

• Active Ohio LPN or RN license is required.
• Tracheostomy and ventilator experience is required.
• Experience with multi-handicapped individuals is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff throughout the shift.
• Ensure high-quality care and compliance with regulations.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and professional development.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide direct nursing care when needed.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment.
