Job description

Description

As a team member at our organization, you will be operating some of the most advanced and innovative printing equipment in the industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Set up, operate, and maintain a narrow web flexographic press in a safe, efficient manner, ensuring all customer requirements (quality, safety, and on-time delivery) are met.
  2. Troubleshoot press problems and take corrective action to ensure the job is completed to customer specifications.
  3. Perform periodic scheduled maintenance, including minor repairs.
  4. Maintain accurate records and coordinate with management regarding production issues.
  5. Comply with company policies, procedures, and core processes.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  1. High School diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Minimum of five years as a flexographic press operator; Nilpeter FA Series experience preferred.
  3. Good mathematical skills.
  4. Strong mechanical aptitude.
  5. Basic computer skills.
  6. Ability to read a tape measure.
  7. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  8. Ability to read and write in English.
  9. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  10. Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  11. Good attendance record.
  12. Ability to maintain the highest safety standards.
  13. Ability to meet or exceed company productivity and waste metrics.
