Job summary

ASC Engineered Solutions in Henderson, TN seeks a Multislide Operator for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm). You will set up and run multislide forming equipment to produce metal parts for fire suppression hangers, working with the press department to keep parts moving.

The role emphasizes quality, safety, and keeping the line running, with routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. You should read blueprints and basic tooling instructions, lift and stand for a full shift,

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating multislide or similar wire/metal forming equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders and basic tooling setup instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Attention to detail for dimensional accuracy and part quality.
• Ability to lift, stand, and work safely around industrial equipment for a full shift.
• Dependability and a team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and adjust multislide equipment to produce parts to spec
• Monitor output for quality and consistency, catching issues before they become scrap
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime
• Follow all safety procedures and keep your work area clean and organized (6S/Lean expectations)
• Work with Press and Secondary teams to keep production flowing smoothly
