Job summary

Multi Craft Maintenance is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support the plant's electrical, plumbing, boiler, press, mill, and mixer systems. The role focuses on upkeep, inspections, mold changes, and minor repairs to keep production running smoothly.

Candidates should have high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years in mechanical/electrical fields; strong reading of blueprints and schematics, safety awareness, and ability to work in a team are essential.

Job description

Multi Craft Maintenance is responsible for the general upkeep of the plant. This position is responsible for the maintenance of electrical, pipes, boilers, presses, mills, mixers, extruders, and overall care of the plant.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Maintain machines and plant equipment.
  • Including but not limited to: molds, presses, mills, boilers, fans, and motors.
• Change molds on presses.
• Move equipment and machinery.
• Monitor boiler operation and perform minor corrections when applicable.
• Continuously check in on designated areas of the plant during plant rounds.
• Maintain consistent communication with production personnel in regards to mold changes and repairs.
• Maintain work area and tend to general housekeeping requirements of maintenance work areas.
• Correct electrical and mechanical problems and report major concerns to Maintenance Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, and/or Plant Supervisor.
• Preform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to maintain work area cleanliness and general housekeeping regarding maintenance related areas.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions in regards to SOP's, Management instructions, and other job related instructions.

  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
