Job summary

Pro Resources Inc. is hiring a Mold Changer for the Oelwein, IA plant on 2nd shift. The role involves operating a forklift and overhead crane to move molds, inspecting and repairing molds, and preparing them for presses.

You will perform daily safety checks, keep your area clean, and follow all PPE requirements. Candidates should have forklift experience, mechanical aptitude, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and pass drug and hearing tests.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required; overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and to bend, crouch, kneel, reach overhead.
• Lift 25–50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Good vision with color recognition and clear communication.

Responsibilities

Mold Changer – 2nd Shift | $25.50/hr | Oelwein, IA

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Pay: $25.50 per hour

We’re hiring a Mold Changer for a manufacturing company in Oelwein, IA. If you’re mechanically inclined, comfortable on a forklift, and like hands-on work that keeps production running, this is the job for you.

What You’ll Do

• Complete daily forklift inspection checklists
• Move molds using a forklift and overhead crane
• Inspect molds for damage and make repairs as needed
• Preheat molds, then install them in presses: align, clamp, and connect steam lines
• Repair steam and hydraulic leaks
• Grease seals, wear plates, and guide pins
• Keep your work area clean and organized and follow all safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned by your Supervisor or Team Leader

What We’re Looking For

• Forklift experience (overhead crane experience a plus)
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand and power tools
• Ability to stand and walk for much of the shift, and to bend, crouch, kneel, and reach overhead
• Ability to lift and carry 25–50 lbs regularly (clamps, tools, steam lines, hydraulic hoses), with occasional heavier lifts up to 75 lbs
• Good vision, including color recognition, and clear communication skills
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and hearing test

Work Environment

This is a production floor role with continuous noise, dust, fiberglass, plus frequent heat, vibration, wet conditions, and oil/grease. Required PPE: safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, heat-resistant gloves, and long pants.
