The Mill Cutoff Operator role at Tarter Gate Company, LLC in Dunnville, KY is a full‑time, hourly position on the 2nd shift. You will measure tubing to ensure accurate lengths and help bundle, tag, and package materials to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting tube quality, reading calipers and micrometers, assisting with mill changeovers, operating a notching machine, and occasionally using a forklift. The job requires lifting up to 75 pounds and strict safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write clearly.

Responsabilités

• Inspect tube quality and report concerns to the Mill Operator for corrective action.
• Measure tubes for accurate length and ensure proper cuts.
• Tag bundles with complete and accurate bundle information.
• Assist in mill changeovers and equipment adjustments.
• Operate notching machine as needed.
• Lift and handle materials up to 75 pounds.
• Assist banders and help organize tubes into appropriate bundles.
• Operate forklift occasionally to support workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
