Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift Production Operator/Relief Intake Operator in Kiel, WI. Pay starts at $27.55 per hour with a $1.00 per hour shift differential where applicable, plus a $2,500 hiring bonus.

Shift is 2:50pm-10:50pm with weekends/overtime/holidays as needed. Responsibilities include receiving milk loads, performing screening tests, transferring milk to manufacturing, preparing loads for shipment, and maintaining paperwork.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of solid work experience in any industry
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to follow manufacturer's specifications and direction
• 18 years or older
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Work in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the day
• Read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and possess basic mathematical skills
• Able to lift/carry up to 55 lbs.
• Must possess or obtain a WDATCP Weigher’s and Samplers’ License before training is completed.
• Must train and pass in plant antibiotic testing procedures to satisfy Appendix N regulations to become and approved Screener for antibiotics in milk before training is completed.
• Must obtain State certification as a Certified Lab Analyst when state training and testing is available.
• Must have the ability to operate computer applications that apply to operations, including MPIS

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming milk loads, perform necessary screening tests, transfer milk to manufacturing, and prepare loads for shipment for outside sales
• Wash and sanitize milk trucks, holding tanks and receiving lines
• Maintain paperwork and other documentation of these tasks
• Work with the drivers to ensure compliance with Kiel Intake policies and equipment cleaning
