Job summary

MIRATECH is seeking 2nd shift welders and fitters in Houston, TX. The role combines 20% welding and 80% fitting, requiring MIG and Flux Core Arc welding experience and the ability to read work plans.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma and welding certification is highly desirable. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Welding certification from a recognized institute or trade school is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to use welding equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding based on product needs and weld round/rectangular elements.
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and instructions.
• Maintain QC and product specifications compliance.
• Deburr and grind metal to achieve proper surface texture.
• Follow welding safety procedures and use PPEs as provided.
• Other duties as assigned.
