Job summary

New England Wire Products Inc. in Leominster, MA is seeking a Production MIG Welder for our 1st shift. Join a team that values craftsmanship and quality and contribute to fabrication of wire display racks and shelving solutions.

The successful candidate will MIG weld per blueprints, set up equipment, inspect work, and maintain a safe, efficient workstation. 1+ year experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, read blueprints, and work well under deadlines are needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Welding certification is a plus but not required.
• Able to read blueprints, welding symbols and technical drawings.
• Lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on metal components per blueprints and work orders.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment for different materials.
• Inspect and measure workpieces to ensure specifications.
• Operate hand tools and grinders to finish welds.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and meet production goals.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment as needed.
