Job summary

DENNEN STEEL LLC in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Metal Stamping Die Setter for the 2nd shift. You will lead die setup, coordinate die changes, and ensure safe, efficient stamping operations in the pressroom.

Responsibilities include completing die changeovers, maintaining 5S in the work area, following KanBan pull systems, and ensuring dies are ready for production. Prior die/stamping experience and a high school diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to five years’ die/stamping related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have experience as Stamping Press Operator or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Leads in setting up dies and related equipment.
• Completes die changeovers safely and efficiently.
• Ability to perform die sets, press operations and troubleshoot stamping processes.
• Change over multiple part number dies.
• Maintain clean, safe work area following 5S standards.
