Job summary

ThyssenKrupp Materials NA, Inc. seeks a dedicated Material Handler for 2nd shift in Bolingbrook, IL. You will operate cranes, forklifts, and related equipment to process material per work orders, ensuring accuracy and safety on the warehouse floor.

Responsibilities include inspecting and tagging material, recording measurements, assisting in packaging, and contributing to lean and quality goals. Pre-employment drug testing applies as part of TK's process.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in the material handler position.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Safety minded and able to work around heavy equipment.
• Pre-employment drug testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Pull, inspect and verify product before processing.
• Set up equipment to run material per specifications.
• Process set up notes per work order specifications.
• Enter/delete material identification tags according to instructions.
• Assist in packaging of material per work instructions and orders.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep area clean.
• Record measurements and maintain equipment.
• Identify non-conforming material and report to supervision.
• Train others and participate in lean/quality activities.
