Job summary

Klune Industries in Southern California seeks a level one Checks & Straightening technician for the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri 2:30 PM–11:00 PM). You will perform basic metal forming with supervision, read simple blueprints, and ensure safety and quality on the shop floor.

On-the-job training (8–12 weeks) is offered on the 1st shift (5:00 AM–1:30 PM). Compensation starts at $20–$24 per hour plus a $2/hour 2nd shift differential, quarterly incentives, and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Fundamental understanding of manual arbor press, hydraulic H presses, shrinker/stretcher machines.
• Basic shop math skills.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints.
• Basic visual inspection.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform basic metal forming operations under supervision.
• Use C/S methods for aluminum parts across various feature types.
• Verify parts to traveler specified inspection method.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
