Job summary

Clow Valve Company, a McWane subsidiary, is hiring a Maintenance Laborer for the 2nd shift at the Metal Casting Facility in Oskaloosa, IA. Starting wage is $26.18 per hour with a $0.90 per hour shift differential.

Responsibilities include sand handling, assisting the maintenance team, and maintaining a safe workspace. Qualifications include lifting up to 50 lbs, frequent bending and standing, and strict adherence to PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
• Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, reaching up to 90 times per hour
• Standing/walking 8–10 hours per day
• Move neck, kneel, squat, and climb as needed
• Frequent use of hands to grasp and operate tools
• Work in extreme temperatures and around machinery
• Wear PPE including safety glasses, boots, hearing protection, respirators

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming and shoveling excess sand in hard to reach areas.
• Assist maintenance department in metal casting facility.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures.
