SMS group Brandenburg, KY is seeking a 2nd Shift Assembler Mechanical to repair, install, adjust or maintain industrial production and processing machinery. This full-time on-site role offers a stable schedule and opportunities to work with a global leader in industrial equipment.

You will read blueprints, diagnose malfunctions, repair components, weld or fabricate parts, test equipment, and document work performed.

Qualifications

• Experience with repair and maintenance of industrial machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints or manuals.

Responsibilities

• Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
• Disassemble machinery to remove parts and perform repairs.
• Test machinery to diagnose and verify repairs.
• Reassemble equipment after inspections and repairs.
• Record parts used and order replacements as needed.
• Study manuals to determine correct operation of equipment.
