Job description

Join to apply for the 2nd Shift Mechanic - Interiors NSA role at Aeroman.

Need 2nd Shift - Experienced Aviation Interior Mechanic with Tedlar experience.

Performs skilled work independently or with others under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Troubleshooting and repairing aircraft interior components with minimal errors.
  2. Removing, installing, and repairing carpeting, lighting, monuments, side walls, and other cabin furnishings.
  3. Disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and reinstalling aircraft cabin furnishings and equipment such as doors, galleys, lavatories, seats, overhead compartments, and panels.
  4. Reading and understanding blueprints, engineering documents, service bulletins, aircraft manuals, and catalogs to perform complex cabin reconfigurations.
  5. Using hand tools and equipment for skilled mechanical work.
  6. Maintaining accurate work records, following safety procedures, and using appropriate safety equipment.
  7. Staying informed of policies and procedures and seeking clarification when needed.
  8. Possessing knowledge of basic aviation components, zones of the aircraft, LOTO, PPE, hazardous waste, GSE, and other regulatory requirements.
  9. Reading maintenance manuals, work instructions, and safety information.
  10. Preparing and maintaining work documentation, logs, parts tags, and time/material records.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English.
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate preferred; FAM course certificates preferred.

Additional requirements include performing daily transactions within Flightstar’s ERP system, researching customer maintenance manuals, and adhering to safety rules and regulations. Safety glasses are required, and prescription safety glasses if applicable.
