Job summary

Smithfield Foods seeks General Production team members for our Kansas facility to help deliver safe, high-quality meat products. You will work on a busy production line, operate tools and machinery, and support a safety‑driven, team-based environment.

Candidates should be reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to work 5:30pm–5:30am Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays. Training and growth opportunities are available as part of our comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform essential duties.
• Able to work a 5:30pm to 5:30am shift, Monday–Friday with Saturdays as needed.
• Physically capable of long periods of standing and heavy lifting.
• Willing to work overtime based on production needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and equipment to process meat products.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient production line.
