Job summary

Perry's Ice Cream is seeking a committed team member for 2nd shift (2pm–10:30pm, Mon–Fri) to support warehousing, materials receipt, and production setup. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced ice cream environment.

You will handle raw materials, assist with recycling, verify BOM accuracy, and contribute to SQF-compliant manufacturing while growing through training and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willing to be trained and operate yard tractor and forklift with license.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills are required.
• Commitment to safety, SQF requirements, and clean work area.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn CIMPRO and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Warehousing of raw materials to support manufacturing.
• Assist in recycling and disposal of packaging waste and garbage.
• Receive packaging and ingredients; set up production materials.
• Review BOMs for accuracy to support the floor.
• Adhere to QCDSM and SQF guidelines for safe, high-quality production.
