Job summary

Lear Corporation in Vance, Alabama (Tuscaloosa Plant) is seeking a Materials Handler/Forklift Driver for the 2nd shift. You will stock stations, prepare pallets and packaging, and coordinate with production to meet needs under minimal supervision.

Qualifications include a HS Diploma or equivalent and forklift certification. Automotive experience is a bonus, with equal opportunity in a diverse workplace valued by the company.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of forklift certification class.
• Experience in the automotive industry is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Move materials using an industrial truck (forklift, tugger, pallet jack, etc.).
• Manually push material bins up to production stations.
• Identify information by categorizing, estimating, or recognizing differences or similarities.
• Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to meet production needs.
• Observe, receive, and obtain information from relevant sources.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
