Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Material Technician for the 2nd shift to ensure correct raw material blends for molded products. The role supports production by operating material handling equipment and monitoring quality, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include weighing materials, operating shredders and blenders, maintaining equipment, and ensuring material flow meets targets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience with forklift or powered hand jack, preferred.
• Prior experience with raw material handling in a manufacturing environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Weighs or measures raw materials to ensure accurate material blends per specifications.
• Loads and operates shredders/grinders and Sortex equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance on Sortex and shredder equipment.
• Operates and monitors material blenders; communicates issues to supervisor.
• Transfers materials between areas to meet production targets.
• Examines finished product for quality and adjusts blends as needed.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and proper material flow.
• Reviews Visual Operating Procedures for standard tasks.
