Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA is seeking an Onsite Material Operator C to perform material control, receiving, inspection, and shipping duties. The role starts on 2:30 PM and runs until 11:00 PM, with a starting wage of $20.50 per hour and requires interim DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities include unloading carriers, verifying paperwork, data entry, and packaging according to SPI instructions. Candidates should have at least 1 year of inventory handling experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in handling moving and processing inventory.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government clearance prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Receives material by unloading carriers, verifies paperwork and enters data into systems.
• Inspects material using standard test equipment and hand tools.
• Performs solderability testing on incoming material and packages for storage.
• Unpacks material and moves it to work centers as directed.
• Transports material within the facility and between MA locations when needed.
• Counts, labels, and prepares material for inventory, storage, issue and shipping.
• Performs basic electrical inspection of components per procedures.
• Packages materials according to SPI or other procedures.
• Maintains records and participates in physical inventory tasks.
• Loads outbound shipments and keeps work areas clean and organized.
