Swisher in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Material Handling Supervisor for the 2nd shift (3:00-11:30pm, Mon-Fri). You will oversee receiving, storage, picking, and shipping, while guiding a team of material handlers and warehouse staff to meet production schedules and inventory accuracy.

You will coordinate with production planning, ensure cycle counts, and utilize WMS/ERP systems to optimize material flow and safety compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of warehouse/material handling experience.
• 2+ years experience in a leadership role.
• Experience with material handling equipment and warehouse management systems.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles and lean manufacturing concepts.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Mansioni

• Oversee receiving, storing, picking, and shipping of materials and finished products.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate a team of material handlers and warehouse associates.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production planning to prevent shortages.
• Ensure accurate cycle counting and inventory reconciliation procedures.
• Coordinate with production supervisors to prioritize material movement.
• Generate and analyze reports on inventory accuracy, productivity, and KPIs.
