Job summary

Wilbert Inc. in White Bear Lake, MN, is seeking a 2nd shift Material Handler to support plastic molding operations. You will move materials, stage supplies, operate forklifts, and assist with mold changes and equipment setup.

Loader duties include monitoring material flow, maintaining staging areas, and ensuring inventory accuracy. Prior warehouse experience and basic recordkeeping are preferred, with competitive pay and benefits.

• Experience with raw material handling and staging.
• Ability to move stock manually or with equipment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of workstations prior to production.
• Study production schedule to determine material and product requirements, movements and deliveries.
• Move stock to and from staging area/gate area and production areas using forklift or manually.
• Bring raw material to press locations for color changes and mold changes.
• Stage materials in dryers before mold changes to reduce downtime.
• Identify all materials staged for production.
• Obtain necessary packaging supplies and components as needed.
• Ensure raw material supplies stay full for each workstation on shift.
• Return unused material to staging/gate and assist with clean up.
• Notify technicians and quarantine contaminated materials.
• Set up grinders to reclaim scrap and oversee grinding of scrap materials.
• Move auxiliary equipment to machines as needed.
• Assist in mold setups when loading/unloading molds or fixtures.
• Move finished product to staging/gate after quality disposition.
• Identify scrap gaylords and move them when full or job completed.
• Lead machine clean-up to prevent material damage or contamination.
• Scan materials for movement within building; maintain logs as required.
• Maintain filters, dryers, drying ovens, vacuum stations and grinders.
• Assist with inventory preparation and counting.
• Recordkeeping related to inventory and lot-to-lot traceability.
