Stanley Black & Decker, Hesston, KS is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift (2:30pm-10:30pm). The role involves operating forklifts, stocking and delivering parts, counting parts, driving trucks, and crushing cardboard in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, the ability to follow supervisor instructions, familiarity with parts and inventory, and a valid lift truck permit. Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• Familiar with parts names, inventory control, and computer entry.

Responsibilities

• Operate Forklift orStock and deliver parts by hand (30–60% depending on shift)
• Count parts and drive trucks as needed
• Crush cardboard and drive yard truck as required
• Scan and update parts in Freedom system
• Attend meetings with Op Ex Lead and focus on safety and quality

What You’ll Do

As a Material Handler you’ll be part of our warehouse production team located in Hesston, KS You’ll get to:

• Perform any of the following duties:

  • Operate Forklift (Approx. 60%) OR
  • Stock and deliver Parts by Hand (Approx. 60%) OR
  • Count Parts (Approx. 60%)
  • Drive Truck (Approx. 60%)
  • Crush Cardboard (Approx. 60%)
  • Drive Yard Truck (Approx. 60%)

• Handle Parts by Hand to stock and move parts. (Approx. 20%)

• Scan and Update Parts in Freedom (Approx. 10%)

• Attend meetings and work with Op Ex Lead for handling parts and other tasks. (Approx. 10%)

• Focus on safety, quality, and achievement of specific/exact objectives
