Job summary

Hillman Group in Rome, GA is seeking a Material Handler for 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM) with overtime as needed. You will move and stock materials and finished products to designated areas to support daily operations.

Responsibilities include using a hand scanner, operating pallet jack, forklift and order picker, receiving materials, stocking bulk storage, and replenishing workstations. Safety is emphasized; forklift certified, able to lift up to 70 lbs, and stand up to 8 hours per

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus
• Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel
• Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions

Responsibilities

• Move and stock materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility
• Use a hand scanner to track inventory and ensure accuracy
• Receive and unload incoming materials from the Receiving dock
• Stock items in Bulk storage area and provide replenishment to workstations
• Pull and stock correct product to boxes and pick locations
• Transfer finished products to designated areas
• Stack pallets and skids in designated areas
• Operate a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
• Report basic operating problems to supervisor or manager
