Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Material Handler Driver – Order Picker for the 2nd shift in Charlotte, NC. The role involves distributing parts and finished goods throughout the warehouse using an RF scanner, with a starting pay of $21.50 plus $1.50/hr shift differential.

You'll lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for long periods, and support safe, orderly operations in a fast-paced distribution center. A high school diploma or GED and prior material handling experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to stand/walk for entire shift and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted regularly.
• Work in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Hands-on team-oriented distribution center experience.

Responsibilities

• Move parts or finished product and deliver mail/packages to various locations using an RF scanner.
• Maintain paperwork and documentation for parts moved per procedures.
• Ensure safe operating processes for all equipment in Charlotte DLC.
• Keep work areas clean and safe and organized.
• Assist training of new employees in the area.
• Retrieve and count products to fulfill customer orders.
• Stock and arrange product to support warehouse inventory turns.
• Support distribution by receiving and transporting components to the floor per safety/quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
