Job summary

Alleguard is seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler to support production and repack operations by moving products through the drying/curing area. You will read work orders, track quantities, and ensure accurate labeling and tagging of containers while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires physical endurance in varying temperatures and the ability to operate pallet jacks, with strict adherence to environmental and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires the ability to perform periods of intense physical exertion in varied temperatures and humidity.
• Ability to push/pull objects with pallet jack or similar material handling equipment.
• Able to stand, bend, and stretch for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers by hand.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area. Perform duties in compliance with all safety policies and practices.
• Comply with procedures, regulations, and instructions of environmental and safety programs.
• Other duties as assigned
