2nd Shift Material Handler II (Supply Chain)

Position Summary

Responsible for the movement of components from inventory to production lines.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties

• Responsible for delivering components to each line on the day of production.
• Review and verify all quantities within a kit.
• Safely operate material handling equipment (pallet jack, electrical pallet jack, or certified forklift).
• Transfer components from wood pallets to plastic pallets when needed.
• Ensure all lines are stocked with components and replenish as necessary.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Assist on the production line when required.

Qualifications

Technical Skills Required

• Operate a pallet jack and forklift.
• Basic math skills.
• Read small fonts.
• Understand manufacturing flow.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

Experience Required

• Forklift certification required.
• Warehouse experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to sit, balance, climb, bend, squat, kneel, turn, crouch, and stoop repeatedly.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and manipulate up to a 500-pound drum regularly.
• Exposure to varying temperatures, loud noises, heavy machinery, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, electrical hazards, chemicals, and vibrations.
• Frequent use of computer screens.
• Discern differences in colors and shades.
• Read labels with small fonts.
• Repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
