Job summary

L’Oréal is seeking a Material Handler I for the Somerset, NJ facility. You will operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials, stock components, and ensure accurate inbound and outbound shipments while following cGMP and SOPs.

You will be required to maintain a clean, organized workspace, perform quality checks, and attend to safety trainings. This full-time role offers competitive benefits and a defined second shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1 year warehouse experience with RR and RC forklift experience.
• Must be able to work overtime when needed.
• Hazardous waste collection and other safety/quality training requirements.
• Stand up forklift experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Experience using RF scanners and reading/doing basic math.

Responsibilities

• Operate PIT or other powered material handling equipment safely.
• Stock Components, Raw Material and Bulk to/from Packaging/Pre-Weigh areas.
• Ensure accuracy of inbound/outbound shipments and report variances.
• Follow cGMP, OTC and SOPs requirements.
