Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Material Handler in Omaha, NE. You will support operations by moving materials, using hand trucks, conveyors, and scanners, and performing packing, labeling, and counting tasks.

Requirements include being at least 18, basic math, ability to read safety and operating documents, and preferred 1 year warehouse experience. 2nd shift hours are 2:00pm–10:30pm; overtime may be required. Full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.

Responsibilities

• Move material and inventory throughout the facility to support operations.
• Use hand trucks, conveyors, or other material handling equipment.
• Perform packing, scanning, kitting, or counting duties as needed.
• Verify orders, label products, and use a handheld scanner.
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
• Work in a safe manner to protect yourself and teammates.
