Job summary

Quanex Building Products Corp. is seeking a Department Material Handler for the 2nd shift in Owatonna, Minnesota. You will move materials within the plant and keep work areas stocked, with hours Monday–Thursday, 3:30pm–2:00am.

Responsibilities include receiving and stocking goods, organizing materials, picking and packing for delivery, operating RF scanners, and supporting quality checks. Prior forklift experience is preferred; benefits include 401K, ESPP, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing operations preferred.
• Forklift and material handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock finished goods.
• Store materials in designated locations, ensuring they are properly organized and accessible.
• Pull and package materials for delivery to various departments or workstations.
• Hook and unhook carts with hitch system.
• Scan finished goods and raw materials with RF scanner, verifying all information.
• Participate in quality control checks and ensure materials meet the required specifications.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
