Job summary

U.S. Lumber is seeking a 2nd Shift - Material Handler to join our team. The role involves shipping, receiving, storing and fulfillment of merchandise and materials in an outdoor warehouse environment.

Starting pay is $23 per hour with full-time benefits. Candidates should have at least 1 year of related experience and a High-School Diploma or equivalent. Forklift experience is preferred as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Work in an outdoor warehouse environment
• High-School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
• Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges.
• Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
• Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines.
