Job summary

O'Neal Steel seeks a Material Handler for the Grand Prairie, TX facility on the 2nd shift. You will load and unload material in the warehouse using equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and conveyors, following established guidelines and procedures.

You will operate forklifts and other handling gear, read tape measures, and perform tasks to ensure timely, accurate output for internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate material handling equipment.
• Accurately read a tape measure.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift (2:00PM-10:00PM) Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

• Operate a wide variety of material handling equipment including forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, yard dog, etc.
• Use a variety of hand tools including grinder, bander, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, etc.
• Accurately read a tape measure.
• Provide high quality work to all internal and external customers as related to the output of their position.
