HOURS:

Hours may vary depending on coverage, report-offs, and holiday schedules.

JOB SUMMARY / DUTIES:
  1. Receive, store, pick, and distribute materials and products within the establishment.
  2. Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved or gathered.
  3. Transport materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
  4. Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
  5. Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute to production areas.
  6. Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets.
  7. Mark materials with identifying information.
  8. Open containers like bales and crates.
  9. Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
  10. Weigh or count items to ensure conformance to standards.
  11. Operate and be certified to drive material handling equipment.
  12. Transport stored items within the warehouse.
  13. Load and unload trailers of palletized and non-palletized products.
  14. Use manual and automated equipment safely and effectively.
  15. Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety guidelines.
  16. Store supplies properly and keep work areas clear.
  17. Follow safety instructions for lifting and report any defective equipment or injuries.
  18. Document incoming and outgoing loads with photos and logs.
  19. Enter records into the computer system.
  20. Work at heights on tanks or trailers when necessary.
  21. Perform cycle counts and record inventory.
  22. Support continuous improvement initiatives like 5S.
  23. Perform other duties as required.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED required, with at least 1 year of production or warehouse experience. Experience with Oracle or similar WMS systems and forklift operation preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Frequently sit, stand, walk, and drive; use hands; occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 100 lbs.; and occasionally taste or smell.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Quiet office areas, moderate warehouse noise, ambient temperature with seasonal variations.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
