Job summary

Eastern Metal Supply, Inc. in Newark, Delaware, seeks a dependable Material Handler to receive, store, and move materials in our warehouse. You will support shipping, production, and deliveries while following safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities include organizing materials on racks, restocking, packaging for shipment, maintaining accuracy, and helping with cycle counts. Forklift experience is a plus but not required; you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work Monday

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Move materials between receiving, storage, shipping, and production areas.
• Sort and store items on racks or bins by size or product code.
• Restock locations and fill requisitions for warehouse or delivery needs.
• Package and prepare materials for shipping or truck delivery.
• Operate equipment and handle PPE per safety rules.
• Assist with inventory counts and accuracy checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized warehouse.
• Work Monday–Friday.
