Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking a Materials Handler at our North Mankato, MN facility. The role supports receiving, staging, put-away, and shipping activities using MHE equipment and inventory software.

This position operates on 2nd shift, 12:00pm–8:30pm, with emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and safety. Qualified candidates will safely operate a forklift, follow instructions, and work well in a team or independently.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Experience using a computer to track inventory.
• Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments.
• Strong math skills for quantities and fractions.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Commitment to following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload/Stage incoming shipments with MHE equipment.
• Prepare/breakdown inbound shipments for accuracy validation.
• Put away product into correct locations via MHE equipment.
• Pull orders accurately via paper/electronic orders via MHE equipment.
• Operate forklift and related material moving equipment to designated areas.
• Perform general warehouse housekeeping including sweeping, mopping, trash removal.
• Follow all safety procedures in operating equipment and performance of job duties.
