2nd Shift Material Handler (Transportation)

Hours are Monday - Thursday, 4:00pm - 2:30am.

Responsibilities include:

• Bringing materials from warehouse to winding shop and returning materials to warehouse.
• Filling in as backup lead in the absence of the lead.
• Staging winding supplies to the correct locations.
• Assisting winders in setting up machines.
• Moving materials within the shop to stage for machine setup.
• Collecting and sorting complex materials.
• Using radio communication with the winding shop.
• Following work orders and updating inventory for the Winding Supervisor.
• Weighing wire prior to returning it to inventory and stripping wire prior to pressing.
• Moving coils to the stacking department.
• Stripping all aluminum wire before sending to press/oven.
• Assisting with paper cutting, foil slitting, and buss bar tasks as needed.
