Pro Resources Inc. in North Manchester, Indiana, seeks certified clamp truck and forklift operators to move rolls and finished goods in the Extruder department. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers training on 1st shift with a 2:00 PM–10:00 PM schedule on the 2nd shift.

You will operate clamp trucks and forklifts, stage materials, and coordinate with production schedules to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety, equipment care, and proper documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a clamp truck to move master rolls, in-process rolls, and finished goods throughout the plant.
• Use forklifts to support several production areas, and stage rolls on pallets as needed.
• Deliver material to machines, storage areas, and docks on time per schedules.
• Identify raw materials, in-process and finished product, and equipment; verify against schedules and report problems.
• Open, strap, and wrap loads for in-plant handling, storage, or shipment.
• Remove and stack empty skids, and prepare shipping docks with scrap containers, bales, and skids for pick-up.
• Service trucks and report mechanical or electrical issues.
• Help repack reworked product and dump scrap.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, assist with changeovers and start-ups.

A locally owned manufacturer in North Manchester, Indiana, that has been producing automotive and industrial components since the mid-1980s.They use extrusion coating, lamination, and compression molding to turn paper, fiber, and foam materials into finished parts for its customers. Pro Resources has partnered with them to find safe, certified clamp truck and forklift operators to keep material moving in its Extruder department. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, giving you a direct path to a permanent role with a growing local employer.

Hours

• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Will train on 1st Shift for 2 to 2 weeks maybe longer)

Must be flexible with working hours; overtime and swing shifts on demand.

Pay

$19.33 per hour

Job Duties

• Operate a clamp truck to move master rolls, in-process rolls, and finished goods throughout the plant.
• Use forklifts to support several production areas, and stage rolls on pallets as needed.
• Work from the production and shipping schedules to deliver material to machines, storage areas, and docks on time so equipment never runs short.
• Identify raw materials, in-process and finished product, and equipment; verify against schedules and report any problems to the supervisor.
• Open, strap, and wrap loads for in-plant handling, storage, or shipment to customers.
• Remove and stack empty skids, and prepare shipping docks with scrap containers, bales, and skids for pick-up.
• Service trucks (propane tanks or batteries, oil, water) and report mechanical or electrical issues.
• Help the product repair area repack reworked product, and dump scrap into the compactor or baler.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, help with changeovers and start-ups, and take part in the idea program and production meetings.

Requirements

• Certified forklift and clamp truck operator.
• High degree of attention and safety awareness to prevent injury to others.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Organized and able to read and follow instructions.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Available for overtime before and after shifts and on weekends.
• Comfortable with a mix of sitting (about 55%) and standing or walking (about 40%) in a plant ranging from 55°F to 100°F with noise up to 94 dB.
• Must wear safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses with side shields.
