Norma Precision Inc., Savannah, GA, is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for the 2nd shift (12:00 pm–8:00 pm). You will operate machines, perform pre-operation inspections, and conduct quality checks on the first run of products.

This entry-level role requires attention to detail, safety compliance, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Packing ammunition and maintaining a clean, safe work area are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position.
• Strong attention to detail and eyesight for close inspection.
• Knowledge of firearms and ammunition preferred.
• Technical aptitude to troubleshoot machinery.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and communicate effectively.
• Adhere to safety protocols.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operation inspections to ensure machines are clear and materials loaded correctly.
• Start and monitor machines to ensure smooth operation and quality standards are met.
• Address malfunctions or jams in machinery promptly.
• Conduct quality inspections on the first run of products.
• Clean and maintain machines according to guidelines.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment by following regulations and procedures.
• Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks as needed.
• Perform Operator Level Quality Assurance checks on parts produced.
• Pack ammunition into appropriate packaging for distribution.
• Complete any other duties as assigned.
