Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead a team of 10–20 operators in a GMP manufacturing environment. You will champion safety, quality, delivery and cost performance while guiding continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/PPI tools.

Advanced degree with 3+ years in manufacturing operations or a Bachelor's with 5+ years in a leadership role is required, along with experience in GMP/ISO settings, ERP systems and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 3+ years in manufacturing operations or a Bachelor's with 5+ years and 2+ years in leadership.
• Experience in GMP, ISO or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong lean manufacturing and continuous improvement knowledge.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office; data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing operations with responsibility for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Lead and develop a team of 10–20 operators on 2nd shift in a GMP setting.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean/PPI methodologies.
• Collaborate across functions and manage investigations, CAPAs and change controls.
