Job summary

Alkegen in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Manufacturing Operator I for a 2nd shift, temporary/part-time role. The operator will set up and change over production machinery, operate presses and CDCH coating lines, and ensure materials are ready for production throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting to maintain quality, completing paperwork, performing light machine maintenance, and adhering to safety rules on the shop floor. Previous manufacturing exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and change over production machinery including die set-up and material changes.
• Operate presses and CDCH coating lines for prep, coating, sheet separating and deframing of gaskets.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues to maintain quality standards.
• Keep machines stocked with material throughout the shift and assist tooling in die issues.
• Perform light maintenance on machines and dies (oil/grease).
• Complete all paperwork, documentation, and BPCS transactions accurately and timely.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
