Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Shift Lead OTC Manufacturing – 2nd shift in the United States (Pennsylvania, Myerstown) to lead off-shift packaging and manufacturing operations. You will act as the primary escalation point for quality, safety, and efficiency while guiding teams through challenges with a focus on DSO principles and the VACC leadership approach.

Responsibilities include mentoring operators, ensuring GMP compliance, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Inspire a team and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as VACC Chief Hurdle Remover for off-shift line teams.
• Escalate quality, safety, and efficiency issues promptly.
• Redistribute personnel for production outcomes.
• Mentor Operators and develop skills.
• Promote transparency of priorities and metrics to empower teams.
• Identify upskilling/training needs and support SME trainings.
• Provide feedback to cluster Leaders on development opportunities.
• Implement safety protocols and drive continuous improvement.
