United Talent Staffing in Statesville, NC is seeking a dependable Plant Clean-Up / Manufacturing Custodian for the 2nd shift. The role involves cleaning production areas, offices, and common spaces, while supporting manufacturing operations as needed.

The ideal candidate stays active, works independently, and helps maintain a safe, organized workplace in a manufacturing environment. This contract-to-perm position offers weekend-free evenings.

Qualifications

• Industrial cleaning, janitorial, manufacturing, or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with dust, debris, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to assist in different areas of the facility when needed.

Responsabilités

• Clean and maintain production areas, breakrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, and remove trash from designated areas daily.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring supplies are stocked.
• Maintain cleanliness in warehouse, loading dock, and surrounding areas.
• Clean breakroom appliances (microwaves, refrigerators, coffee machines).
• Follow established cleaning and sanitation schedules.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unusual cleaning needs.
• Follow safety procedures around industrial machinery and equipment.
• Assist with production operations during breaks or staffing shortages as assigned.
