Job summary

Konik is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Faribault, MN for the 6:00 PM–6:00 AM shift, 2-on 2-off. The role supports daily production by troubleshooting, repairing, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement of mechanical and electrical equipment.

You will troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, diagnose PLC/HMI/VFD and motor issues, perform calibrations, use machining tools, and document repairs while adhering to safety and GMP requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational education preferred.
• 1-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and controls.
• Experience servicing VFDs, electric motors, starters, and/or servo motors.
• Welding, machining, and GMP experience is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, dependability, and safety awareness.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and work primarily standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic production equipment
• Diagnose and support PLC, HMI, VFD, motor, starter, servo motor, and control system issues
• Install, adjust, repair, and maintain processing equipment and pneumatic/electronic process control instruments
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and equipment repairs to minimize production downtime
• Use machining and fabrication equipment, including lathes, drill presses, grinders, and arc/wire-feed welders
• Document repairs, equipment modifications, work orders, and maintenance activities while following safety and GMP requirements
