Job summary

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC is seeking a Powered Electric Maintenance Technician to provide first-line support for production and assembly machinery on the 2nd shift in Georgia. You will plan preventive maintenance, manage downtime metrics, and work with Engineering on new equipment.

Proficiency in SAP PM, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and safe work practices are essential. This role requires standing, walking between buildings, and occasional travel for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and basic upkeep.
• Familiar with TMP techniques and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office tools.
• Welding experience (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW) beneficial.
• Safety practices including LOTO; ability to work safely.

Responsibilities

• Plan preventive maintenance schedules, shutdowns, and repairs.
• Control downtime, MTTR/MTBF metrics, and housekeeping.
• Produce daily and monthly activity reports.
• Manage spare parts accuracy for ongoing repairs.
• Execute Time-Based Maintenance in SAP.
• Report results and improvement plans for maintenance.
• Collaborate with Engineering on new equipment installation.
• Provide weekly/monthly maintenance reports and updates.
• Assist with weekend/shutdown/plans and maintenance manuals.
• Support training needs and develop training plans.
• Maintain PPE per OSHA and Mobis Alabama standards.
