Qualifications

• Must be in good health and in good physical condition.
• Must obtain a class C or higher driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Have knowledge of small machines, repair, and maintenance.
• Able to work 2nd shift 2:30 pm–10:30 pm.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment within the school district.
• Construct shelves, cabinets, etc., and repair desks, tables and chairs.
• Inspect, repair or replace plumbing, piping, fixtures, traps, valves, gauges, pumps, coils, gaskets and other related work.
• Make minor electrical installations and repairs.
• Respond to emergency calls.
• Perform maintenance on air conditioning and heating equipment.
• Perform minor repairs to roofs as needed.
• Work on preventive maintenance for controls and other equipment; energy conservation work.
• Keep parking lots and sidewalks clear of snow.
• Maintain all work order and inventory records.
